Happy birthday, mom!

I made my mom a bracelet for her birthday--it was inspired by one she liked in the lia sophia catalog. We went to a party a few weeks ago and I kept saying, "No, I can make that!" So far, this is the only thing I've made.

To celebrate, the whole family went out for Chinese food. Dinner didn't end so well, thanks to the tragic fortunes in my mom and dad's fortune cookies. Mom's read, "Your problem just got bigger. Think, what have you done?" And then dad's read, "It's over your head now. Time to get some professional help." Ouch! Confucius is not playing around!

Wow, that second one is pretty harsh. I didn't know fortunes like that even existed. They usually try to make the fortunes positive.

I bet the lia sophia stuff was super expensive. I went to a premier designs party a few months ago and said the same thing about their stuff - that I could make most of it. It was super expensive and I couldn't bring myself to buy anything. lol

Haha, those fortunes are too funny! Those fortune writers must be pretty twisted!
