It was strange being back in church for such a serious and intimate event. Both mom and baby were baptised in a dark corner of the church behind a large hanging drop cloth--the rest of the altar area was wreck! They are busy constructing a set for the Easter cantata. Immediate family came, along with a few friends. It was very sweet and I'm happy I was invited.
The pictures are okay. A lot of them aren't as sharp as I'd like, and I can't tell if it's because my focus is way off or if it is the shallow depth of field that I need to get used to. The church was A LOT darker than I expected and that was a challenge. Correct white balance is also proving to be tricky for me. But I was able to get a few good shots and that makes me happy. I'm not going to post any here, though, since I didn't ask for permission. Sorry!
